Usage Techniques Of Whiteboard Markers

Apr 21, 2025

1. Shake the ink well before writing: For some whiteboard markers whose ink may settle, gently shaking the pen body before writing can make the ink mix evenly and the writing color fuller.

For example, if you are using a colored whiteboard marker, shaking it can avoid uneven colors.

2. Control the writing force: A moderate writing force can make the handwriting clear and avoid ink penetration or excessive wear of the pen tip.

For instance, when writing important content, maintaining a stable force can make the handwriting neater.

3. Utilize the pen tip shape: According to different pen tip shapes, such as conical pen tips being suitable for writing larger fonts and fiber pen tips being suitable for writing smaller and finer contents.

For example, when drawing a chart, use the conical pen tip to outline the framework and the fiber pen tip to fill in the details.

4. Keep the pen tip perpendicular to the whiteboard: This can ensure that the thickness of the writing lines is uniform and reduce the uneven distribution of ink.

Especially when writing longer lines, vertical writing can make the lines look straighter.

5. Use light colors first and then dark colors: If multiple colors are needed, use light colors first and then dark colors to avoid color mixing when the dark ink covers the light ink.

For example, when drawing a colorful mind map, write the light-colored branches first and then the dark-colored branches.
